About The Course

This two-day Level 3 First Aid at Work Requalification course is for those who wish to renew their previously gained First Aid at Work Qualification. Designed to provide you with a learning environment to refresh your skills and get updated on any new or adjusted guidelines. 

Focusing more on the core set of skills needed in lifesaving emergencies while centering around your ability to recognise and manage injury and illnesses through role play exercises. 

Requirements

  1. Valid First Aid at Work Qualification

  2. Basic Command of English (Level 2) - (Adjustments can be made)

  3. Identification (Passport / Drivers Licence / Other Government issued photo ID)

  4. Proof of address (Utility bill, Council bill or Bank statement) 

Assessment

As you have previously achieved your First Aid at Work qualification the course will go at a faster pace. However, your experienced trainer will still be on hand to clarify any issues. Assessment will again be made through observations and a short written assignment. 

Target Audience

This requalification course is only designed for those who have previously achieved their First Aid at Work certificate which is due for renewal or has previously expired less than 28 days ago. 

Industries include but are not limited to;

  • Construction sites

  • Hospitality & Event Work 

  • Business with regular footfall of 100 or more

  • Factories & Warehouses with machinery 

  • Venues with an increased risk of injury

Qualification

Upon successful completion of the course candidates will receive a nationally accredited Alliance Events Qualification, which is valid for three years. Meeting the requirements as set by Health and Safety Executive (HSE) and approved by the First Aid Industry Body (FAIB).

My First Aid at Work has expired can I still take this course?


Short Answer: NO! Unfortunately, your certificate is only valid for three years. Once expired you will need to resit the full three day First Aid at Work qualification course.




My First Aid at Work Qualification has expired, can I still perform my First Aid duties?


No!




My Emergency First Aid at Work Qualification is expiring soon, do I need to do this course?


Short Answer: NO! This is for those who have previously completed their three day course in First Aid Work. If you wish to requalify in your Emergency First Aid at Work, you will need to redo the one day course.
